Happy 1st Birthday!!

Madison turned one today! She weighs in at 20 lbs 13 ounces. She missed out on her child dedication ceremony and Birthday lunch cause she came down with Roseola. Our little girl can say quite a number of words like mommy, ma ma (grandma), goh goh (brother), Bai bai (and point at a nose), and ba ba (daddy). Thanks to all who presented her with a birthday gift and a special Happy Birthday to our friend Tyson Wong! We'll celebrate together next year!!!!

Here's our Birthday monsters.

All decked out for her big party!

Where's Ethan? Eating cake of course!

This is her newest trick. She loves to climb up Ethan's slide and let go!

Trip To Houston

In April, we took a little trip down to Houston Texas for a family vacation. It was a fun time of sun, fun, food and shopping. Ethan and Maddy got to meet their cousin Amanda as well as uncles and aunts from Mari's side of the family. Thanks to all the primos and primas for their hospitality and letting us crash with them.

Here we are in Houston! Ethan was a little overdressed for the 90 degree Texas humidity.

Maddy really enjoyed the plane ride. She enjoyed the airplane seats more than her carseat.

Ethan was all ready for his trip and carried his luggage everywhere he went.

Father and son walking through the airport.

Thanks again to all the primos and primas for having us!

Our lovely hosts for the trip!

We took a small road trip to San Antonio! Here's the cousins at Sea World.

Ethan loves Hopscotch.

Amandita!!!

Remember the Alamo!

The Riverwalk which was beautiful!

Gearing up for Shamu!

Shamu! Shamu!

Feeding dolphins was definitely a highlight

Waterfountains were everywhere in Texas! Ethan must've threw $100 in pennies during the trip!

Ummm are you sure it's safe to eat here? Looks kinda sketchy!

Dang straight! This is real BBQ!

Spending the day at the waterpark! Life is good.

The Children's museum was really fun. It's like the Science Centre but all the exhibits were for kids. They got to dress up, touch and play different activities. Definitely something we need here in Toronto.

Poor Amanda had to share her toys with Maddy and Ethan.

Ethan as you can tell felt very much at home. Luckily Amanda had toys to keep him occupied.

Chocolate Cheesecake!!

Thanks so much for having us!!
